I had no idea this was popular on TikTok but it is.
This is dangerous if you don't know what you're doing, you can die.

I have nothing more to say

We have a couple of guys in our club that do this. You can never be too careful, and they make sure to use all the proper safety equipment.

I would never attempt something so dangerous as this.  The interesting part is how many people think a dead man switch is going to save them from dying.  I don't think enough people realize at that voltage less then a second is enough to take you out.

Tools aren't dangerous, people are.
There are several safe ways to accomplish this if you understand the potential risks and take steps to avoid them

Some people know a lot about things that they know very little about. It’s a shame that some only discover this only after it is to late.

I made a unit for doing this and did a few pieces, but it is dangerous and really not worth the risks involved. lots of other safer things to be doing.

I have had a video pop up on You Tube, under the heading 'This will kill you'. It is about the fractal burning.

Rob, I did the same thing - quit after a few pieces. Figured that one mistaken action would take me out. Since I never make mistakes I should have been OK continuing the process....
