Now that everyone is spending more time at home (sheltering in place) it's time to clean the shop. (do as I say, not as I do  Roll Eyes)
This is the only picture of mine you're getting.

Keeping the store open as long as I can.

Just had 2 more people come in with stuff.

A large stain glass piece that was damaged by the movers and I need to fix it and then put it into a frame for hanging.

Ed.. where are the stacks of bowl blanks?? Shocked

All the bowl blanks I have are in another room, I call it "the wood room"
I accidentally hit the touch screen on my camera while I was photographing something else.

As far as my shop being "clean" I'm giving it about a 6 out of 10, 10 being the worst. It was about an 8 two days ago, so progress.
Unfortunate I'll never get it to 0 or even about 2, there is usually a constant flow and too little room.

It's like playing life sized Tetris
Move it here, then move it there, then move it back again and it's still in the wrong spot or in the way.

I'm retired (Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register) so my schedule (it you can call it that) really hasn't changed much.  Thus, I have no more incentive than I did before to clean the shop. Full spring cleaning mode and beyond. Son-in-law gets to load his trailer and get all equipt I can't use anymore due to neuropathy. Jointer, Jet dust collect, mortiser, dovetail jigs and heavy router, +++++! BUT, even at 78, I'm making room for a new REVO 15x 24 lathe that's on the way (I hope). Also giving my mini Nova to one of my daughters students.

Since getting good electricity in shop, my goal has been to get so organized that Ican actually do work out there. I've shortened my work bench by almost 2 feet. it's now same length as my table saw with it's extension. But I can walk all the way around both and see the floor that I'm walking on. Still got to get used to sweeping the floor and vacuuming up after a day's session.

That's just an artistic interpretation of how it feels sometimes.
A little off balance heading toward a tipping point.

I've cleaning my wood rack in the shop.  Sorting woods by species.  I also have several tubs of smaller pieces that I hadn't touched since we moved them 5 years ago.  So I'm going through them and turning smalls (tea light holders, mini-bird houses, etc.) and tossing chunks I know will never be turned into the burn bin.  Sure takes longer to empty a tub of wood than a shelf of bowl blanks!
