Agreed Slightly off topic, a can attest to the fact that a plastic bucket will blow away while a wooden one stays put. Also wooden buckets don't break down and get brittle like plastic ones.

Agreed

Slightly off topic, a can attest to the fact that a plastic bucket will blow away while a wooden one stays put. Also wooden buckets don't break down and get brittle like plastic ones.

As cool as it may be to have a wooden bucket I will take my cleaned out plastic drywall mud bucket any day over a wooden one. Sorry for that attitude but nostalgia is good only to a point with me.

I'm hoping it's "grandfathered" in. Roll Eyes

In one sense, I'm certainly with Robert. I have probably 40+ 5gal plastic buckets with everything from tools to fertilizer in them, I couldn't get by without them.

I prefer the look and longevity of wooden buckets and certainly appreciate the skill that goes into building one.
I may try to make one, who knows.
