Hi Don,

Selling on Etsy is a full-time job. In the beginning, you should expect to spend 80% of your time on marketing and 20% on producing your items. I would hire a photographer who specializes in product photography to shoot your items. I would hire a copywriter, who specializes in Etsy, and ask them to write 5-10 product overviews, which you can edit for your other items. SEO is a never ending job because the market is constantly shifting. A subscription to Marmalead or Etsy Rank is mandatory. You'll need great packaging. In essence, you need to become a mini Williams-Sonoma or Crate and Barrel. It's not for everyone. When I started, I didn't realize how much time marketing my items would take.

Thanks for completing the picture for everyone, Jennifer.   It's not too early for you to start a subscription blog for selling in quantity on line . . . as if you needed another undertaking.  Hope all continues well for you.
