I'm posted too.
Robert you and I have very similar shapes.
Yours looks nicer.
I couldn't get my lighting right and the pic doesn't do it justice.

Got a picture of my attempt posted. Comments welcome for sure.

It must be me, but I can't seem to get my picture larger or I get that the file is too large to upload. It has got to be me, I can also not seem to get 2 pictures in one album.

do you mean 2 pictures together(similar to Bob Hamilton) viewing as one or 2 separate pictures?  if 2 together, you have to use a photo editor so stitch them together first and then upload the single picture.  if 2 separate pictures, you have to upload each separately.

I see 7 pictures posted in the 2011 Summer Challenge Gallery.  I have received all 7 mailing addresses.  Folks, you have about a day left to post your picture and PM me with your mailing address.  We had more than 7 that said they were going to do this.  I've blown up 5 so far, and I am going to do another one tomorrow.  I had a lesson with Tom Tunget today, and we did one together, right after I showed him how to turn a pen.

Carrie, Where's your's?

I just posted mine, hope you like it.
This was my second attempt at this type of thing. I still have the first one sitting on the decorative firewood pile. The first one was full log style and had a small check in one end. I tossed it thinking the check would open up and ruin it.
Now, a month later, the check has not moved. I might have to go back and give it another try.
Jim, let me know if you need my info again, and I'll ship anywhere.
