Short answer is yes.
While mostly what you hear is Megapixels, that's not what's the most important.
A cell phone camera my have high technical specs but it is limited by it's physical size. Basically the lens is too small to let in enough light.
These cameras have come a long way and are better at overcoming there physical limitations, but as with any photo of this type (product shot) you need the proper amount of light.
I have a Samsung S7, I believe it has a 8 megapixel camera (which is the same as my first digital camera)
I can post a sample photo using my phone if you would like.

A decent tripod would make a major difference in the quality of a smartphone's photo's too.

Cell phone images are great for images posted on the web and it ends there.

I've yet to see a image from a cell phone that I would consider print quality.

One of the problems isn't the 8meg image the phone makers proudly like to promote, its the teeny tiny lens that's usually dirty and/or scratched.

Another problem is that the cell phone's owner needs to make sure they are shooting at the highest resolution possible. Most people don't know how to change this setting or even know that they can.

And another problem is some phones like to compress or reduce the image's resolution for emailing making a so/so image worse.

So the long answer is no.
